BOTI history
It consider one of the largest Arabian and Iraqi oil training institute due to his capacity , educational staff , workshops and labs. It started at (1972-1971). The first graduation alumni was in 1973.
It aims to prepare and provide mid staff of technician (technical diploma) that the national petroleum industry need in the different educational specialization, specially the petroleum one. It sakes to hold training courses for petroleum sector staff, high percentage of these courses are done by the scientific departments and specialists in the institute. The number of courses reach to 150 course in the year. It hoped that this number would be increase in the future.
